May 31 to June 2, 2019

The long wait is over!

Following the tremendous success of the 1988 Joint Annual Gathering of American Mensa and Mensa Canada, Montreal sure took its sweet time to organise another AG, but it was all worth it!

And with PASSION as a theme, our speakers will know how to enthrall you with their account of what makes them vibrate. But what about you? What empassions you? What fascinates or mesmerizes you? Come share your passion with us, we can’t wait to meet you (or see you again!)

Featured Conference

by Patrick Chartrand (in English)

In this conference the audience will be exposed to a number of technologies behind today’s Artificial Intelligence field.

From Expert systems of the 80’s to Neural Networks of today: Each variation of AI is still around us today and I will be discussing the practical applications for each one with real life example.

Will be addressed:
Expert Systems
Fuzzy Logic
Path finding
Genetic Algorithms
Optimisation using Metaheuristics
Multi Agent Systems Neural networks

But more importantly: The effects – positive or negative – on the human species. We will be raising the so important ethical questions and hopefully the room will be able to interact and provide feedback on some of the key issues. After all, we are Mensa!
